New Whatsapp Status Update Features to Improve Communication

WhatsApp recently announced the launch of five new features and enhancements for its popular status feature. The updates include expanded privacy settings, voice status, emoji response to statuses, link previews in status updates, and a new profile ring. These changes are aimed at improving communication between users through more control over privacy settings, as well as more ways to express yourself through voice messages and emojis. 

The first update is an improved privacy setting that allows users to choose who can view their updated statuses each time they post them. This means that each user will be able to customize who sees each message according to their preferences. In addition, WhatsApp has allowed users to share voice messages up to 30 seconds long in their statuses, making it easier to express themselves even if they don't want or don't have time for a text message. 

To keep track of contacts' status updates, WhatsApp has added a ring around a contact's profile picture when he or she updates his or her status. It shows up in chat lists, as well as in group member lists and contacts information sections, so it will be easy for users to see when someone else is posting something new without having to manually look through multiple conversations or topics. Furthermore, there is now support for emoji reactions to any posted status, which adds another level of engagement, allowing people to respond quickly with the appropriate emotion instead of constantly typing words.  Finally, link previews are now available so that when someone posts a link in their status, it appears as an image preview along with basic information about what it links to, making it easier for others to decide whether or not they want to click on it without leaving the app.
