Meta Restored Normal Work of Facebook, Messenger, and Instagram

After the outage was noticed by users around the world, Meta fixed the problem. The company restores the entrance to social networks. More than 11,000 users from Messenger, Facebook, and Instagram sent their complaints to developers, claiming they have problems with entering profiles, messaging others, and even logging into the network.

On Friday the platforms that belong to the Meta company went under fire. They revealed the same problems with the availability in different countries across the world. The issue prevented profile owners from any activity, and in some cases even from entering the social network. Meta has made an official statement about the problem, acknowledging it.

The spokesperson of the company said to the press that they are aware of the issue. The reports came from more than 11,000 users who could not enter their profiles in the apps. The outage was massive and global. The first portal that noticed the outage was the Downdetector platform which tracks outages on all social networks. It was not the first outage for WhatsApp in a short period of time. Only several days before, it already faced the problem that was fixed in a few hours.

The portal reveals that the first users who noticed the problem were from India. Over 2,600 reports were sent from the region on October 25. On Tuesday WhatsApp shared the news about a technical problem that caused that outage and that it was fixed. After some time the users from the UK began to send complaints. There were over 63,000 messages from that region. After that, Spain and Brazil users joined the group. The IT Ministry even asked the company to make a report about the problem and how it was solved.
